Help Grace Lutheran Church support Heifer Project International through our “Pass on the Gift Program!” Named for the young dairy cows it first began donating to poor families more than sixty years ago, Heifer Project provides the hungry with a renewable source of food rather than short-term relief. In more than 85 countries throughout the world, recipients of Heifer Project livestock agree to “pass on the gift,” donating the offspring of their animal to another family in the community, thereby making the gift never-ending. Thanks to a $2.5 million matching grant challenge from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the donation you make today will be matched dollar-for-dollar, so please join us in supporting a worthwhile cause!
