Elaine MannThe music of worship is truly liturgy—the work of the people. In it we are invited, inspired, and involved in making Christ known. Worship music at Grace is a treasury of the faith of all generations.
We are invited to enter the song as we sing the hymns, the regular parts of the service, or as we listen to instruments or choir. We are invited to participate.
Singers and listeners are inspired to a deeper faith by adding music to texts. Our memories are imbedded with phrases from the Bible we can take home with us, to hear in our cars, and to pray when we are alone. Sometimes music affects the senses and emotions in ways we can not describe.
Everyone is involved, from the youngest children to seniors. All have a “voice”. As choirs, we rehearse weekly to do our best for God. New members are always welcome.
